OW, ow ow ow ow OW OW. Okay, I apologise in advance for this but I am really fucking fed up at the minute. I am currently sat at my computer and it feels like someone has knotted all the muscles in my back shoulder and some of my ribs and jumped up and down on them. And its really beginning to get annoying. I played rounders at Archery TWO FUCKING DAYS AGO, and I've been in pain since then. I'd like to think i'm not that unfit, but for some reason all the muscles in my back are rebelling. Gah!

And yes I know there are people who are probbably worse off than I am and I should count my blessing etc etc. And while thats all well and good, it does jack shite for the pain. I'm 21 and I'm hobbling round like some old man. And if I sneeze, which some of you may know I do on a semi regular basis due to allergic rhinitus, it feels like i'm being stabbed.

I've tried deep heat, suprise suprise it made me feel cold and didn't help. Pain killers only work for a little bit, and considering the summer before last i had to take them daily I dont really want to take them if i can avoid it.

Sometimes it would be nice to not be a freak of nature, just once.

*Sigh*

Here endeth the rant, we know return you to your usual broadcasts

I sympathise, I really do. I have two vertebrae fused together in the lumbar region of my spine, which causes my back to lock up, which causes muscle spasms, which means I can't put my left leg on the floor, which means I can't walk; spasms then travel up to my shoulders and neck, blah blah blah. Yeah, I sympathise.

If it's exercise related, it could be lactic acid build-up - you need to find someone willing to pound your neck, shoulders and back. It will cause agony for you but will ultimately help.
